Terms of service
Last updated 18 October 2026 · Charters is operated by TYLT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED
These terms apply to everyone who uses Charters — cab vendors and their partners, companies and their employees, passengers and drivers — on the web, the apps, WhatsApp, SMS or e-mail. By using Charters you agree to them. Charters is operated by TYLT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED.
1. The service
Charters is software. It lets companies book and approve trips, lets cab vendors and their partners assign cars and drivers, track and close trips and bill them, and keeps everyone informed. Charters does not provide transport itself: the vendor that accepts a trip is responsible for the car, the driver and the ride, and the company and vendor are responsible for their agreement with each other.
2. Accounts
- A workspace (vendor or company) is opened by someone allowed to act for that business; that business is responsible for the people it invites and what they do.
- Keep passwords and sign-in codes private. Tell us at once if you think your account was misused.
- Information you enter (rates, GSTIN, vehicle and driver documents, passenger details) must be accurate and you must have the right to share it.
3. Acceptable use
- Use Charters only for lawful ground-transport business.
- Do not send spam or marketing through trip messaging, and message only people who expect to hear from you about their trips.
- Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the platform, or to see another workspace's data.
- Drivers must not use the app in a way that distracts them while driving.
4. WhatsApp, SMS and e-mail
By default Charters sends trip messages from its own WhatsApp, SMS and e-mail accounts, and the messages each workspace sends are counted and billed to it at the published rates. A workspace may instead connect its own accounts; it is then responsible for those accounts, their templates and approvals and for following WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies and India's DLT rules, and a monthly service fee may apply as shown in the owner console before it is switched on. If a workspace's own channel fails, Charters may send the message through its own account so that trip and safety messages still arrive.
5. Fees and payment
Prices are on the pricing page and in your workspace. Charters sends one GST invoice a month; unpaid invoices may make the workspace read-only after the period shown on the invoice. Taxes are extra. Trip fares between companies and vendors are agreed between them; Charters only records and invoices them on their behalf.
6. Your data
Your business data stays yours. We process personal data as described in the privacy policy; for the trips, passengers and drivers of a workspace we act on that workspace's instructions. You can export your data while your workspace is active, and we delete it as described on the data deletion page.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Charters available and secure and publish its health on the status page, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features; we will give notice before removing something you rely on or changing prices.
8. Liability
Charters is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the conduct of vendors, drivers or passengers, or for delays caused by networks, maps, messaging providers or events outside our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the workspace paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Suspension and closing
You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or does not pay, after notice where we can give it.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction. Questions or complaints: raghavbn@gmail.com.
